At Music Gear Outlet, a BMG Company, as known as Backline Music Gear, we strive to provide our customers with a seamless and efficient shopping experience. Below is an outline of our shipping policy that applies to all orders, including instrument purchases, rentals, and accessories.

 
Shipping Methods & Delivery Time

Standard Shipping:
 
Most orders are shipped via standard ground shipping, which typically takes 5-14 business days for delivery.
Shipping carriers may include UPS, FedEx, or USPS, depending on the size and weight of the order.

Expedited Shipping:
 
3-Day or Express Two-Day shipping options are available at checkout for an additional fee.
Expedited shipping will only be available for in-stock items.

International Shipping:
 
We currently do not offer international shipping at this time.

 
Shipping Costs
Free Shipping:
We offer free standard ground shipping on all orders over $100 within the continental U.S.
Shipping Fees:
Orders under $100 are subject to a varying shipping fee that depends on the weight of the instrument starting at $15 for standard ground shipping.
Expedited shipping will incur additional charges, calculated at checkout.

 
Shipping Timeframes

Order Processing:
 
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days of receiving payment.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Tracking Information:
 
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Please allow 24-72 hours for the tracking information to update.

Backorders:
 
If an item is out of stock or on backorder, you will be notified within 24 hours of placing your order.
Backordered items may take additional time to ship, and we will provide you with an estimated shipping date.

 
 Rental Shipping & Returns

Rental Instrument Shipments:
 
Rentals are shipped using standard shipping unless expedited options are selected at checkout.
All rental instruments must be returned within the rental period. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Late Fees: If the instrument is not returned on time, daily late fees will be applied to your account.

Return Shipping for Purchases:
 
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is damaged or defective upon arrival.
Please contact us within (2) days of receiving your item for returns or exchanges.

 
Damaged or Defective Items
Damage in Transit:
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours) with photos of the damage and your order number.
We will arrange for a replacement or a refund at no additional cost to you.
Defective Items:
If you receive a defective instrument or accessory, please contact us to arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund.
Please report any issues within (2) days of receiving the item to qualify for a return or exchange.

 
Shipping Restrictions
P.O. Boxes:
Some shipments cannot be delivered to P.O. Box addresses. Please use a physical address for shipping.
Remote Areas:
Shipping to remote or rural areas may incur additional fees, and delivery times may be longer.

 
Order Modifications or Cancellations
Order Modifications:
If you wish to modify your order after placing it, please contact us within 1 hour of placing the order. We will do our best to accommodate your request before the order is processed.
Order Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we can cancel it without any additional charges any time after that a 15% restock fee will apply.

 
Holiday Shipping
During peak holiday seasons, shipping times may be extended. Please be aware that shipping carriers may experience delays, which are outside of our control.
We encourage placing orders early to ensure timely delivery.
